Haven't had an issue with the cable for about 2 years now. Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? Where is the battery on a 2020 ford fusion?
Remove The Negative Battery Terminal First, Then The Positive Terminal.
Are you fixing your fusion yourself? From the top view, you want to go almost as far clockwise as you can. Select a 10mm (0.4 in) wrench or socket, as most car battery cables have this size nut attached.
Just Replaced The Oe Battery In My 2006 Fusion As The Dealership Tested It During The Last Oil Change And Stated It Was Borderline (Aka Getting Bad).
Found some light corrosion on the positive terminal. Europe type terminals (t1) positive connector diameter: +battery cable terminal is corroded not making a good connection.
